INDIA: RAJASTHAN and PUSHKAR CAMEL FAIR - Discovering the rich and colorful culture of this princely state Dates: November 1-19, 2008, 19 days/18 nights Arrival: November 1 in New Delhi. Departure: November 19 or 20 from New Delhi (flights leave around midnight). Price: $3,995 (land arrangements only, based on single occupancy). NOTE: DEADLINE TO REGISTER: JUNE 30, 2008!!! This extension is particularly great for those participants who are not planning another trip to India, as the Taj Mahal is one of those must-see sites in one's lifetime and one of the Seven Wonders of the world.

NEW EXPEDITION: HAITI !!! VOODOO PILGRIMAGE OF SAUT D'EAU - Walk in Carole's footsteps as she goes back to the Sacred Waterfalls of Saut d'Eau and join Haitian voodooists on their purification pilgrimage, which was the subject of her National Geographic article "Of Gods and Saints" (March 1985). Then enjoy Cap Haitien and the Citadelle and beautiful Caribbean beaches. Dates: July 12-20, 2009, 9 days/8 nights (Depending where you live, you may have to spend an overnight in Dallas or Miami in order to make the afternoon flight to Port-au-Prince from Miami) Arrival: July 12 in Port-au-Prince. Departure: July 20 from Port-au-Prince. Price: TBA (land arrangements only, based on single occupancy).
